Dr. Randy Schuett & Carol Infalt, presenting the United States Veterinarian of the Year Award 2003 Dog Waste Poses Threat to Water www.usatoday.com/news/science/2002-06-07-dog-usat.htm Animal waste, especially from dogs, is one contributor to "storm water pollution", and contains disease-carrying bacteria and toxic chemical nutrients that can increase the risk of viral infections, flu, and skin rashes for swimmers near the storm drain outfalls. The best way to prevent these, and the many other bacterial and parasitic infections dogs can acquire from stools, is to remove feces on a weekly basis and keep your dog current on vaccinations, fecal exams and deworming. Benefits from Yard Doody Services ** Most people hire a professional scooper because they don’t have the time to keep up with their dogs weekly duty. ** Most owners find the chore disgusting and would much prefer to know that they have an affordable and convenient solution to their dog poop problem. ** Dog owners whose kids play in the same area where their dogs leave their doody can really use this service due to the potential health hazards. ** No more heated battles over whose turn it is to play pooper scooper. **You own several dogs and struggle to keep up with their doody, leaving your lawn and garden looking and smelling more brown and stale then clean and green.
